Almost finished with the pilot episode of Stargate Universe on netflix. Looks good and even better so far than many of the episodes of Stargate and the few I have seen of that Atlantis show. I must assume it was therefore cancelled with likely an unsatisfactory ending that would have been done better with at least one more season. It would not surprise me at all if this aired on FOX originally and was canned for something "important" like a chance to air a longer round of American Idi.....er....Idol.

2nd clinical day. I'm a little panicky this morning because I have to hand in a clinical form on my patient at the end of the day and we spent five frigging hours in conference yesterday leaving about three hours to be with my patient, one hour of that he spent sleeping and a half hour he spent eating lunch. Five fucking hours sitting in a room talking about nothing when we could be working. That's starting to irritate me.

Plus, my professor was sitting there yesterday calling Munchausen syndrome, "Munchauser's syndrome" over and over and over like and it was killing me. For the first time I am starting to lose respect for one of my professors.

Some friends of mine are hosting a foosball party tonight that I've been looking forward to all week. No wonder the week has lasted so goddamned long.

 

Busy busy busy day.

Finally going to a monthly social media meeting that I have been trying to attend ever since this damn office went all crazy.

BIG donor coming in to meet with students, so that will take up the rest of my day.

 

This day can't end any sooner. It is so nice out, almost 60F and so sunny and warm.

 

I am so fucking tired of dealing with vendors who won't address known issues. They need a throat punch.

 

I has a sad. It's going to be a beautiful weekend, and the man is going away until Tuesday. Just dropped him off at the airport.

By the time he gets back, he'll have been away from Columbus for about 50% of the time since we met. Grah!
