Damn it, you two. I was in a talent show in junior high where two sisters did a lip sync/dance routine to that song. And now it's stuck in my head.

 

Almost 9 months out of work and I finally got me a damn job today. I was beginning to think Brits either didn't hire ex-pat Americans or didn't hire women with less than 10 years to retirement. University of Reading's School of Chemistry teaching secretary. A 10 month cover for maternity leave but at least I've got my foot in the door.

I'm so ready to stop being one of the idle unemployed.

 

Just found out that my sister spent the weekend in jail after a domestic dispute with her (ex)bf. Apparently, he gave her a bloody nose, she hit him with her phone, and he (or both) have been involved in doing/selling prescription drugs. All under my mom's roof. UGH. This is so not the way I wanted to start my day.

 

Just watched part of an actual One Direction video and boy are they awful. Makes those Key of Awesome parodies even funnier.

I remember you being in talent shows, but I do NOT remember the sisters.

 

Glad that's over with. Now just two papers to finish, two clinical days, another clinical prep form and three discussion posts...then it's the weekend!

 

Blonde, sorta snobby, transferred to Middletown for track in high school...I think they both played soccer, too.

I might get to mow the yard this weekend. If it's warm enough, I'm going to weed and prep the flower beds, too. Huzzah, spring!
