    As the title says...

This is 40, would have to be the last movie I really enjoyed. The wife loved it too..

I did a search for this type of thread, and didn't find one, sorry if this was a repost.

We watched The Campaign recently and I enjoyed it. It was by no means the greatest Will Ferrell movie I've ever seen, but I liked Zach Galifianakis as Marty. And the pugs. I love pugs.

Argo. It was pretty Hollywoodized, but entertaining, and well-written, well-acted, and well-directed. I don't know about Best Picture, but it was a fun evening.

Safety not Guaranteed. An indie film with a surprise ending.

Bubba Ho-Tep. I saw it many years ago, and we watched it last night for our B Movie Night. It's fun and it has Bruce Campbell.

I think the last movie I watched was Half-Blood Prince, and sadly, I didn't enjoy it much.

Before that was You've Got Mail. How deliciously 90s. I got a kick out of the fact that Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks used IBM Thinkpads.

Safe Haven. Not at all what I expected. Two wonderful unforeseen twists.

I've seen a lot of movies that I just liked, but the last one that really consumed my attention was Charlie Wilson's War.

We rented Wreck-It Ralph last night. Sooo good. Besides all the fantastic video game references, it was really damn cute.

We went and saw that as well. We both enjoyed it. When I saw it was by the guy that wrote the Notebook, I wasn't to excited. I had wanted to see the new Colin Ferrell movie, with the redone Wish You Were Here song in the trailer. But I followed the wife's wishes and actually really enjoyed it.

I saw the trailers, but didn't expect much. Guess I will have to give it a look.

    Thanks!

The funniest B-flick parody of B-flicks I've seen in years. Solid gold.

It must be how severely I'm a child of the '80s, because every time I see or hear "Taken 2" mentioned, I always want to call it "Taken 2: Electric Boogaloo."

The best recent film I have seen in a long time. And I typically use "recent" to mean a film shot in colour rather than black & white.

  20. Yeah. They did a good job with keeping the ending of this one ambiguous.
