    i failed with most of the people i know.

    this time....this time is gonna be different.

    of course, there's no reason to expect i will actually meet don delillo.

    i think i said "these are purty" out loud.
    so one of the women behind the table looked up at me.
    i told her that i would be willing to emigrate so they could publish my stuff.
