What I could really use right now is a good spice rack. The somewhat meager supplies I had before are even less after two moves. A new set of pots would be high on my wish list right now but that will have to wait for now.

 

I'm really not very good at this whole 'social' thing...

 

today is a beautiful day

 

First gym visit since the bedamned abscess revisited after a 25 year hiatus. 6 months of zero activity really had a terrible effect on this old bod. I feel weak & trembly in my limbs after exercising. Also feel so damned glad that it is possible to actually do cardio & resistance work again. Definitely planning on 3 times a week visits on order to get back to where I used to be

 

I'm glad to see that you're picking up the jokes that I thought were beneath me - which isn't much. No matter how gnarled, bent and rotten the tree is, the apple still doesn't fall very far away.

 

We should hang out sometime.

 

If you're ever in Raleigh, NC I'm up for it. I'd really like to start travelling to meet ups, but my wimmins tend to keep me grounded here. ( that might be an excuse )

Honestly, most of my family fits the autistic spectrum, though the higher functioning end. I seem to have a mild case of Tourette's, which can make me seem entertaining ( when I'm not being a complete ass ).

 

I'm loving this new VDI that allows working from home so much easier than the old VPN.

 

Sitting here in mah hotel room in St Augustine, sipping on a margarita. I am covered with a light coating of fine white sand - I can even feel it inside my sneakers, inside my socks, in between my toes. Had a nice lunch with an old okcupid hookup (didn't work out) who also happens to be a pretty swell sort of guy. It's been a really great day. I might have one more, then hit the streets with my camera.

After three long years of sitting in a box I finally put my framed college diploma up on the wall. Along with the current girlfriend's most recent degree and my military patch panel, my living room is totally all: Lookit Our Accomplishments! Just Look!
