Reefs are really comfy, but I switched over to Teva Olowahu flips a few years ago and won't go back. The Mush sole on the Tevas is durable and comfy. I only buy a new pair every year because I like to change patterns.

I usually buy cheap-o Target flip-flops but, admittedly, for the amount that I wear them I should probably be wearing something with more support.

I love my havijanas and reefs, while the man lives in his Olu'kais.

    Oh hey, it's still raining.

Just don't try to kick ass in flip-flops.

    *boot-stomp on your toes* "Ow!"

    *runs away*

    *flip-flop...flip-flop...flip-flop...flip-flop...trips*

The double criss-cross straps on my Tevas make it possible to run. I used to do it all the time when I worked at the preschool. My old boss was always worried about our ability to run if necessary in our flippy-floppies. I made her eat her words. It also wasn't a fair comparison since she wore Birkenstock mules every day, and she sure as shit couldn't run in those.

There's a gradual divergence happening on Facebook. Those who post good stuff are posting awesomer stuff. However, those who typically post crap are getting worse with their shitty posts.

Another vote here for Teva. They have a few versions with their Mush soles that look pretty effing adorable.

As much as Orwell was on the money in trajectory if not by degrees, I'm way, way more concerned about the accuracy of Huxley's vision.

You're fighting the Newspeak. You're like Rambo except you've got a couple of belts of Proper English across your chest. You can't win but you can set some of 'em straight.

    They drew first blood.

I'm pretty sure I had a firm understanding of punctuation by the time I reached grade 5 to the extent that it couldn't be forgotten.

You say Rambo, but perhaps I'm more like a Shaolin monk. Those guys start their training at around 4.

Monks? Yeah, but Rambo has feelings.

Here's Rambo showing his "feelings" to monks.
