I'm currently hanging out with The Cat in Denver.

 

Jealous. I'm currently trying to go to sleep.

 

It is official. I am planning a spring break road trip. Alone. with my camera.
The only person I plan to see whom I know is the lovely ms. noodle.
I've got this craving to be no one in the middle of nowhere. Crappy motels, dirt roads, bologna sandwiches...well, not bologna, i hate bologna.
I need an adventure.

Ahhh... My first Saturday off in a month. First non-Sunday off as well. Coffee, breakfast, errands, more coffee: check, check, check and check! I dare someone to make me feel more ambitious that that today.

 

I am having a great Saturday. Getting 8 hours of solid sleep helps. That is such a rarity for me. I wish the weather were better, I'd love to be outside. Instead I'll go work out.

 

A whole box of Do-Si-Dos has gone missing. Heads will roll!

 

The website looks a little different, but yeah the same concept. thanks! i'd been thinking about that site a few weeks ago and what happened to it.

 

Really because I just went to 'where's my refund" and found mines been applied to back child support. The entire refund. I guess I'd be ok with that if owed child support but I don't and I never have. I called and was told to call another agency the "Financial Management Service." So I called and got voice mail/automated hell for an hour. I finally got a lady on the phone who told me "right you don't owe child support, I'll send you some forms to fill out. But be aware you're going to need copies of the court papers showing you paid it." "Paid what? I've never owed any, EVER?" "Well you'll need court papers stating that then."

I have a funny feeling I'm going to be lucky if I can use my tax refund for Christmas shopping this year or maybe next years.

 

After years of legal tape it appears that state goverenments are holding back tax refunds in case there are any past money issues with said state. Everyone is getting that message. Here in Colorado I was told I owed money to the state courts from 2006. This was not true.
