    The SO wants to see Silver Linings Playbook this weekend. I mean, I enjoy Bradley Cooper...De Niro is always entertaining...and let's face it, Jennifer Lawrence and Julia Stiles are both teh hawtness.....

    But it's a rom-com. A highly rated rom-com.

    I'm wary. Is there such a thing? (Excluding When Harry Met Sally, natch.)

    Yeah, reading about it, I figure it's not the shenanigan-type lol rom-com. It's also described as a "dramedy," which I think is more my speed.

    Also, I recall enjoying I ♥ Huckabees.

    When I look at the Criterion collection page on Hulu, I get overwhelmed. So much to see and re-see. I've gotten to where I just choose one from the first one or two rows because if I scroll down too far I become conflicted. I have this irrational goal of watching all of them, though.

    Someday I might have to see how this Victor Hugo story is turned into a musical. The presentation that Orson Welles gave it for the 1937 Mutual Radio serial is my favourite. I have a difficult time picturing any kind of musical numbers anywhere near this tale.
    That Hobbit film sounds like a prime candidate to rent when it hits Blu-Ray.

    Off to yet another boring three hour hospital orientation session. But at least this one is for the hospital I will be assigned to in about...uh, four or five weeks or so, I think.
    They are serving us lunch, though. Free food always makes me happy.
