    Conrad in downtown Chicago. I booked a King Exec Suite using hotel rewards points I have from work travel. It must be a slow day here, because they upgraded me to the 2000 sq ft Presidential Suite for free. The other room I had books out from $450-600 depending on the night. This one is "Price available upon request". Way above my pay grade, that's for sure.

    This morning I hunted down the guy responsible for upgrading us to the nice suite. I tipped him $40. I figured it was a drop in the bucket compared to the value. He seemed shocked and happy that I would do such a thing.
