    I can't find my copy of Williams' Style: Lessons in Clarity and Grace but I did find my TWO copies of his Style: The Basics of Clarity and Grace. ARG.

    I should add that I also have Strunk and White's The Elements of Style, Trimble's Writing with Style: Conversations on the Art of Writing, and Diana Hacker's marvelous Research and Documentation Across the Curriculum, which was my best friend before Zotero. Somewhere I also have A Writer's Reference. This reminds me that my MLA handbook is also missing from this collection.

    I should probably stop before I begin cataloging my grammar books.

    My hotel room may explode soon. Or there is a severely unbalanced washing machine inside the walls. I I have no idea what the hell is going on. The other room was behind the elevator shaft and all I could hear was squealing and groaning for five floors... As all four went up and down. What. The. Fuck.

    Got home today from my honeymoon.

    Our hotel in Tampa for 2 nights was right across from the Tampa General Hospital. I don't know if this was the hospital where Phil had stayed at all, but all I could think about every time I saw it was him and his zest for life and our walks for ice cream every time we saw each other. Damnit.. I miss you man.

    It really has made me stop and think every 5 minutes about my priorities in life. I love this board but at the same time... don't stop living with compassion. Rise above little petty things and be good to each other. We're all we've got.

    I never thought I would say this, but I love coffee. It's all this baby's fault. She has given me cravings for the beverage. Just the flavor. I still have an insanely low tolerance for caffeine. All it takes is a tablespoon or so of coffee in my milk to satisfy. Most women talk about giving up coffee or reducing coffee consumption during pregnancy. Mine has increased: rather than once in a blue moon it's nearly every day that I seek a taste. Very odd.
