the smaller the better... not a fan of the shaved ones though. i mind hair being left on my bedroom floor though...

I was staying at a house once in high school at a basketball tournament. In the morning, I came downstairs into the kitchen, which had an antique wood cooking stove (it was used for heat/ambiance, not cooking). There was a space behind it which was always warm and cozy, a perfect place for a cat to snooze. As I came into the kitchen, something hit the back of my heel like a brick. I screamed and looked down to see what appeared to be a small lion gnawing on my heel, it's paws wrapped around my leg holding me in a death grip (no claws).

The household cat, weighing in at something over 100 lbs (at least that's what it felt like!) would hear people coming down the stairs, and wake up and wait to pounce. Apparently it lived for reactions like mine, and so did my hosts, who were falling over laughing. I think I threw my knee out trying to shake this monster off, but it was in for the kill. It was the largest cat I've ever seen, and did weigh well over 20 lbs. He and I became very close in my 2-day visit, and he even gave up the stove to sleep on my bed (and attack my toes if I happened to move them).

So yes, big pussies can be fun, but just as dangerous as the smaller ones

This is our cat Grancey (from where she gets her TFP name). He is 20 lbs.

 

I have met this cat. He weighs about 22 lbs. And when I say to the owner, 'dude, man, your cat is too fat. you need to put him on a diet.'
He asks me, 'do you really think so?'
I roll my eyes.

 

I cant believe that no one has wanted poor Judas because of his size. Was a big stoner cat once lived not too far away. Amadeus would follow the spliff around a circle, and settle on the back of the sofa so bombed he would just roll off and thunk onto the floor, where he would lie prostrate. If people tried to keep him away from the smoke, he would attack fiercely and savagely.

 

This is Finnigan O'Malley: Bestest kitty in the whole wide world!! (He has issues though, he thinks he is a dog!)
