Pointless Announcements

Ho hum...to many changes to fast. Feel like running to shake off this feeling.

 

after pulling a weeks worth of re-edits down in two days...

I am fucking done until I decide to work again. Getting out of the state for a holiday vacay in a few days, then back after first of the year and then I'll probably decide to do some work a week after that. The lull right after xmas is brutal, no sense in rushing to get to it.


oh... and the_jazz - I like being odie. It means I have a long tongue and lick pussy. How could you possibly give me an out like that? You be slippin'.

 

I still haven't put any Christmas decorations up. I meant to do it this weekend, but just...didn't. I thought about skipping them completely, but my mom MIGHT be coming down for a quick visit. Cue the panicked house-cleaning.

 

I was in a Bah Humbug mood lately. Not today. It SNOWED! It didn't rain. It SNOWED!!!

I am super happy today!!!!

WHAT? I have to stuff and label these letters myself? It's bad enough that I had to do a mail merge. I'm so tired now.

Life is so hard without admin assistants and student workers... Student workers will be back in January and we'll hire an AA soon...I hope. These hands weren't made for manual labor.

Just finished re-reading Starship Troopers recently so I picked up the DVD from work for $4. Have not watched since it hit theatres back in 1997 and not surprisingly it still sucks horribly if viewed with any kind of serious eye. At least it works as a brainless action flick "inspired" very loosely by the book with good CGI.

 

I love this. I used to game way back in the Commodore 64 days, and I can't tell you how many games I couldn't finish because they were too fucking hard... which led me to thinking about the designers. Hey guys, how does it feel- you created an entire world but most people who bought the game will only see a fraction of it?

 

Had the opportunity to help a friend with a brand new windows 8 laptop today. I learned how to restore the start button and mostly banish that hideous new xbox looking interface. Not too bad of an option when you give it the Win 7 look. Still going with the Win 7 64 bit route whenever I upgrade my desktop.

 

I'm having trouble processing how cold it is in Dubai right now.

Much laughter will ensue, if Sandance is going to happen with everyone wearing overcoats.
