Up to have breakfast with my brothers then to deliver fruit baskets to the widows and sheltered.

 

Up and wide awake..wish I wasn't though. It's Saturday for Pete sake!!

Mild panic attacks are not fun. I've been laying in bed awake since 8:30,snuggling with kitties and listening to comforting sounds of snoring and am randomly struck by the reality of not having this regularly for a year... It's just a year. But at the same time, it's a year.

 

Some of that almost made me cry. I love being a Mason...

 

Ralphie, thanks for helping to restore my faith in humanity. After yesterday, I was kind of ready for Mother Nature to kill us all off.

 

i had been looking forward to nyc this weekend but stupid things got in the way.
now i might be coming down with a cold.

I watched news reports from Newtown for the first time since yesterday at noon. I nearly cannot watch. I don't want to see the videos of the aftermath anymore; the fear, the suffering. Damn this all to hell.

My daughter and her boyfriend are over from Australia for Christmas. Picked them up from the airport this morning. They are staying with my ex but coming over for the day tomorrow and I'll see plenty of her. I've missed her.

My son is staying with me while they are over (he has been staying with my ex recently). I've also missed him.

I don't understand why, but I basically hate the holiday season and all it's trappings.

I can respect that but I have to say, there is nothing better than Christmas with my family.

 

I hate the Atlanta airport. Someone on my flight from Seattle had really bad gas, there was a kid kicking my seat, and the man next to me snored the whole flight.

It didnt help that I spent the flight crying intermittently. Don't know if I'll ever see him again, and that makes me really sad.

 

Went to a Christmas party last night. Made a amazing discovery. I seem to dance better sitting down then I ever could standing up.
