    Both SO and I instantly went "American ripoff of Neon Genesis Evangelion".

    And we both already hate that they brought in the Japanese ninja fighting skills tidbit that Americans so badly fail at incorporating, every time.

    But whatever... it's huge mechas vs badass monsters using some really nice graphics.

    This is weird. I just referenced Twiki in a conversation yesterday and couldn't remember Dr. Theopolis' name. And lo, here he is in all his majesty.

    I was going to ask what are the odds, but now that I think about, the odds are pretty good, given the sort of people I hang around with here, that something like this would happen.
