    My buddy's family had a pitbull named Little Bit. She was a big and intimidating-looking dog, but very sweet personality.
    She was named by their grandson when he and she were both pups.
    She had a whole slew of puppies in the end, before she died at 11 yo after getting out of the yard one day.

    That's EXACTLY where my mind went.

    My brother and I call a bar in our hometown The Winchester. It's actually called the Speakeasy and it's where CinnamonGirl would sing karaoke. It doesn't resemble The Winchester in that movie in any way, but we still call it that.

    Ah, great day at the middle school. Got to hang out in the teacher's lounge. My mentor teacher said he didn't understand how I could remain so upbeat and laugh at the kids so much. I said, "After teaching preschool for two years, I learned that if you don't laugh, you'll cry!" The veteran teachers in the lounge nodded sagely and one said, "Actually, that's a good point. I'd never thought about it that way before." I shrugged and said, "I prefer to be happy, even when they're obnoxious jerks." Because yeah, some days they are obnoxious jerks, but somewhere in there, someone said something that made me laugh, and I'd prefer to focus on that.
