Just installed Grand Theft Auto IV on the PC. Had to download a file to make it run but it does now.

World of Warcraft is the only game I've been playing on the PC consistently lately. This whole having a console that actually plays decent FPS games has kinda drawn my attention away from PC gaming.

i have a disorder with piling up my backlog. i just can't help it when i see these AAA titles go on sale for 5 or 6 bucks. i still haven't cracked alice madness returns and have had that a year, i just bought a double pack of prototype 1 & 2 last week and haven't even started that, and yesterday i ordered rage from bethesda.

besides that i'm still playing borderlands 2 when i can (the pirate dlc is great) and i'm eyeballing starting up torchlight 2 if/when it goes on sale in the steam xmas sale.

I have gradually divested myself from PC gaming. I was playing Civ V but found it too addictive, so I toasted it. I had WoW installed on my machine, but I haven't been able to get back into it, so I uninstalled it to stop myself from subscribing for a month and not actually playing it. Age of Conan is gone as well. Lord of the Rings Online stopped working because of Vista security issues (I tried everything), so that's gone. I have a few of the Total War games, but didn't get very much into them yet.

I basically removed all my PC games. I find that if I have them, I play them and do little else.

I have a PS3 and a backlog of games that includes Skyrim (current), Batman: Arkham City (current), Assassin's Creed I and II, inFAMOUS, and God of War II (current, and I want III).

On my "want" list is the Uncharted series, Red Dead Redemption, Dark Souls and/or Demon's Souls (I get them mixed up), Dragon's Dogma, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

The issue is that I haven't gotten into the habit of playing the console regularly. I'm not really gaming at the moment for a couple of reasons, but I expect that to change soon. The machine is on a shared TV, so that limits my game time, which is probably good. The thing is, I tend to want to play when the TV is already in use. I need to start playing in "off hours." Midday on weekends are prime time for a few reasons. I should try that at least.

Anyway, so many games, so little time. I wish I was born twenty years later than I was. :)

I have Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted 1 and 2. I need to finish Red Dead myself before I'll be ready to loan it out, but once I'm done we can probably work something out in re: a trade.

Coolness. I have Mirror's Edge, which I highly recommend. Though it's not for you if you get disoriented in 3D first-person environments. It gets pretty crazy. It's one of the best games I've played though.

second that. i rarely finish a game nowadays but the story was so cool in mirrors edge i did clock that one. as for ps3 there's a really old spider man game i highly reccomend called spiderman: web of shadows. the enemy ai and peon thug variation can be very primitive, but the physics/locomotion of spidey's web slinging is like nothing i've ever done. i used to spend hours just swinging around the city and collecting the little vista tokens.

Actually, this is me as well. I normally lose interest in games. With Mirror's Edge, I just had to know how it ended.

They keep flirting with the idea of a sequel. They need a sequel. And a movie. Lucy Liu as Faith. Laurence Fishburne as Merc. Boom. Done!

The physics remind me a lot of Batman: Arkham City. Have you not played that?

I have Mirror's Edge on PC and am pleased with it. I do not have Infamous, Assassin's Creed or God of War. I'm quite sure we can work out something that's mutually beneficial.

No real update for me. I'm still playing Star Wars The Old Republic, just more exclusively now.
It is free to play tomorrow, by the way. Just sayin' :D

    Infamous was a download, unforch.

The God of War is technically I & II on one disc, so you'd get a lot of game out of that.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to start Assassin's Creed "soon," as in "as soon as I'm done Skyrim," but who am I fooling? I still have so much Skyrim ahead of me it's not funny. I've played the intro to Assassin's Creed to see what it's like, but I didn't want both games going simultaneously as they are somewhat similar in category (fantasyish).

Uncharted, on the other hand, I wouldn't mind playing simultaneously. I have much less stamina for shooting games, so I an only play so much in a session anyway. Mirror's Edge was like that. I played that and finished it while having Skyrim on the go.

So basically I'm saying pick which game you want, as long as its not keepsies.

Oh, it's totally a high priority. I've seen what the third one is like, and it looks like it keeps getting better.

It's really too many games! It's like a logjam, and I haven't played very much in months. It's my own damn fault. Like I said above, I just need to make more time on the weekends. I tend to zone out and have a lot of down time where I don't really do anything productive. I could be gaming during these times.

I have that same problem! I have buddies wanting me to finish out Borderlands2 but with work and kids it's hard to find the time. Xbox, PS3, PC gaming rig, iPad, I've got too many gaming outlets waiting to happen :)

I've never played Mirror's Edge however, (need to check it out) wasn't that game like Portal or something?

It's basically parkour meets Tomb Raider/Prince of Persia-type climbing meets The Matrix, where you spend a lot of the game trying to get away from people shooting at you.

    It's an adrenaline rush.

yup, i played through both arkham city and asylum and actually enjoyed the 1st a bit more. city was a little too much sandbox and not enough story for me.

i love the glider mechanics in batman but the webslinging and wall-crawling in that spider-man game just hit my rush button a little better. that said, overall the batman games are better.
