Pointless Announcements

We use my laptop with an HDMI cable and stream them via online sites when the need arises; I will warn you that the NFL is really, really good at shutting down streaming sites. We do have cable at the moment; it was included at our last place and was only $20 more on top of internet after our recent move. We decided it was worth being able to watch the Blazers at home over the winter. Going out to watch basketball games gets tedious.

As for my height, I'm 5'8". Living out West, I didn't think that was that tall for a woman until I traveled back East. Of course, I am short compared to some of my female Dutch cousins (one is 6'5"). My dad is 6'5". Blows my mind. I think my kids are going to be pretty tall. Hubby is 6'1". It could happen.

I've done it too. It was a team effort between myself and an old roommate. It's the perfect apres ski meal. We put cheese in the sausage and basted it with maple syrup.

 

OMG, so nice to have my own space again. The only noise is MY NOISE.

 

I'm pretty sure she's breaking rules and needs punished. I thought this was supposed to be a respectful place, not a den of teasing and torment. I feel abused.

 

Protip for post office visits. You cannot mail anything in a box that originally packaged alcohol and that exhibits that in any way. They also do not sell plain paper there to cover over said alcohol advertising. They do sell overpriced boxes, and overpriced tape to seal up said boxes.
