    And this is why I am grateful for Student Prime. We shop on Amazon often enough that the shipping costs far outweigh what we spend on the Prime membership.

    Hanging out at my favorite coffee shop this morning. I used to have a different favorite, but times have changed. This one is the closest coffee shop to where I work, and so I have spent many a lunch break walking down here for a soy latte. Although I don't do that any more, I still come here before I head to the library, or come here to get work done. They carry awesome local coffee, have a great vibe, the owner is the barista (and an awesome barista, at that), and they always have interesting art on the walls. Plus, the owner really makes an effort to know his regulars. I like that I can buy a cup of coffee and pay for subsequent refills at one go.

    Came back from my 4 day weekend to a delivery vehicle with a blown engine, a deathly ill assistant manager and a to-do list longer than my arm... I have loooong arms.

    Fuck you, Monday. You can't steal the wonderfulness that was my weekend that easily. I'm tougher than you, you bastard!

    I subscribe to the regular Amazon Prime and find it well worth it. Free two-day shipping on (almost) everything. I buy quite a few books, but most recently it was a patch cable for $3.38 shipped free. I think that it's well worth the $79 it costs me each year.
