Oh, that's too bad. Mine took a couple of months to settle in, but it's been worth it. No periods for two years! For someone with debilitating pain from aunt Flo, the Mirena is amazing.

Borla, I hope Stanley gets better. That said, here are a few 'shops I thought would be in spirit:

    Very good work!!

He barely has a limp today. It's obvious he's not 100%, but he's markedly better. And appreciates all the well wishes and ear scratches. ;)

convalescence ear scratches for lord stanley. pleased to read he's on the mend.

i am working up the energy to move through this seemingly insuperable barrier that separates me from outside. this project has been underway for some time. preliminary reports from the physical sites are mixed. in some unnamed clime, indolence and action are fighting a pitched plastic-figure battle. because the figures are plastic. so they don't move so much. indolence therefore has an advantage. we await further developments like a baby bird waits for mom to vomit into its mouth.

I looked at the mirena but my body hates foreign objects. I had to have cartilege piercings removed or have part of my ear amputated. That was a no-brainer to decide. I broke out in a rash every time they did a venipuncture for years. Even plastic. The depo experience was awful, too. Unwittingly, I asked the doc about the mirena... He laughed. I stuck with the Pill.

I had to scoot back a bit to find out what happened to Stanley. Obstruction fears are the worst. I'm glad that he's going to be ok.

    CinnamonGirl The Cheat is GROUNDED!

Spending a few hours at the shop today. We brought the pups in, to see if they can chill enough to spend the days here with us during the week. So far, so good, except they DID bark at our part-time guy when he stopped in to say hi. I'm really hoping they barked because he surprised us, and were going by our reactions...because barking at every customer that comes in is NOT going to work.

  10. I feel incredibly good today, considering the insane amount of vodka I drank last night. Must have danced the hangover away. Now I'm letting my legs recover. Gotta to rock that stage tonight.

  11. I have a bird feeder on a wrought iron pole the back yard. Just noticed the pole was bent to about 30 degrees at the base and the feeder was flung under the spruce next to it. Maybe a deer was eating by it and got spooked by something. Then the deer said fuck very loudly. Deer can say fuck, can't they? I would have. Loudly.

I guess we can say that they are officially disregarding the breed restrictions at this apt. complex as I saw a woman tonight with not just one but two beautiful full-blooded grey and white pits. I wish I could have caught up with her. They were majestic-looking. And were definitely interested in meeting Simba and I. Maybe next time.

Took my three pups to get their first shots today, complete with collars and name tags. making them safe and legal...well, legal anyway.

It's crazy (in a good way) that random strangers are concerned about Stanley's well being. :D

He is continuing to improve. Tonight, if you didn't know to look for it, you wouldn't even be able to see a limp. And his personality has returned to about 90% of normal. :)

I'm also thrilled that Bama lost. Now the Ducks definitely control their own destiny.

HAHAHAHAHA...I don't know that Baraka_Guru would be a fan of his baby drinking lager. I hear he prefers more flavorful beers.
