So I emailed the dude I'd been seeing (for a few months) last night after not having heard from him for a week. No response. This sucks.

i asked the colonoscopy doctor if it could have been true that i saw them all dancing to david bowie's let's dance in the middle of my previous one. he looked a little startled. then he said it is possible. very strange. next time, i shall ask about the faces.

 

My work shirts are red and I keep forgetting to change before going in. Almost always get asked questions by customers. On time, a manager gave me a hard time for goofing off on the job.

 

I envy you guys with your sleepy-time deep-probing. A few months ago when mine was going on I was uncomfortably wide awake throughout the entire half-hour plus that the ham-fisted young guy seated behind me was threading his pipeline through my nether regions. I'd much rather be able to remember seeing dancing rainbow filled icebergs being lifted through clouds of butterflies by beat-boxing Valkerie. As it is I had to quietly grit my teeth and lay there on my side pretending that there weren't nasty little gerbils scrambling around beneath my belly button looking for a way out. At least I kept the urge to cry "Excelsior!" to myself. And because Dr. Pipefitter found a bedamned polyp I have to go back in 5 years instead of the promised 10. Yuck. At least he didn't find any ravenous tumours turning my lower gut into a jungle freak show of transformed flesh.

not that i objected before, of course. when presented with a form, i always check the box labelled: "yes i want drugs."

being awake for that would presuppose that the person doing the procedure had bought me dinner. either recreational or not at all! i would say, were that not likely to distract me from checking the "yes i want drugs" box.

 

There are 3 trips that I want to make before the end of the year. The first just for fun, the second for fun and work and the last for work. All would be great, but I don't know if I'll have time for all of them. There's one, though, that I'm pretty sure I'll get to do and could be a great trip for business as well as a good time.
