    Not at Fireside.. we've upgraded to Schram Memorial Chapel (GO NAVY MILITARY HISTORY!) 11:30am Saturday 11/3. Anyone who can make it is welcome. We will be done with both ceremony/reception no later than 1:30pm. It'll be an in n out affair.

    The helmet was a good buy. I just went on a twenty minute plus ride in 38* weather. Felt far warmer than a couple weeks ago, even though it was a few degrees colder. Definitely extended my ability to ride in the cold by a good measure.

    That is one of the things I am really looking forward to at the new place. It's carpeted, which means I can go barefoot, AND we'll be living all by ourselves, which means I can be naked. It's my preferred state.

    One major project for the term is done and out of the way. Yay. Now I just need to read this chapter on reliable assessments and write a response, and that'll be 2 classes down for the week.

    One of our mobility impaired professors is stuck on the 18th floor of his building somewhere in New York with no heat or electricity. It makes me sad. Brilliant man, cerebral palsy and declining health. Not that I'm not feeling bad for everyone who doesn't have power or anything, but he's truly stuck and has no way to help himself. He has MS-like symptoms. :(

    In other news, I'm really bummed I'm not in Chicago, my 2.5 hours of sleep and finger of Blanton's are combining forces to thwart my attempts to enjoy Sunny and The League. And to stay awake past 9:30, so I sleep all night.
