Hey everyone! It's halloween - you know what that means. It's the only truly socially acceptable time for adults to make use of their cosplay attire in public.

What are you doing this year? Share a photo if you dare!

I'm a science officer. I'll be hanging out all day in the microscope facility here on campus with a bunch of other nerds dressed up in Star Trek uniforms. I'm still in shock about it, but I made 4 costumes yesterday and didn't even break a sweat.

Nice!Trying to grab a Lab Coat to spray with ketchup for a simple and effective Mad Butcher Halloween Costume, but revealed more difficoult than expected. Physics guys rarely use lab coats, and no-one have one to spare! >.<

I'll be dressing up fancy and wearing my masque to the ballet to see Dracula with a friend tonight. No Halloween parties for me this year. :(

  4. You look soooooo cute genuinegirly!! I'm wearing orange tights, black dress and spider earrings at work. I was in a pissy mood this morning so I didn't even bother grabbing my Witchy Hat. Hmm...that's sort of fitting really.

Awww, bummer. I hope you're eventually able to find a lab coat. Sounds like a funny costume.

I took junior out trick or treating. Am now planning for next Halloween: I will be lurking in the bushes so I can murder the little shit who dumped the whole bucket of candy we left for them, and through the ones they didn't want all over my porch.

Woman and I are going as the Top Gun leads... will post pics when I get back from NYC.

Hey, why has nobody posted a good Jack 'o Lantern picture? I know some of you butchered a gourd.

I carved pumpkins last night with the old lady and, man, was that a workout. Her pumpkin was nearly 24 pounds.

Mmm, hafta post pics of that as well. Halloween is totally my favorite holiday ever and I'm really glad to be home for it this year.

Haunted houses, monster movies, sexy dress-up for the ladies, drinking, delicious chocolate in Fun Size (TM) portions... I friggin' love it.

We did Halloween last Saturday. We decorated the front of our house and shelled out a tonne of candy. I didn't dress up this year.

My daughter chose to dress as a cheerleader this year. My wife made the costume but only on the understanding that she was Buffy the Vampire Slayer and not just any old cheerleader (a family has to have standards).

    9:00 and no kiddos.

Apparently, according to Magpie, I buy candy for the kids every year despite the fact that we never get any. And then I eat it all. She said that she's starting to think I just use Halloween as an excuse to buy myself a bunch of candy.

    She's onto me.

Jesus Halloween Christ... how many kids do people have around here? I've been assaulted by wave after wave of miniature monsters this evening. They took ALL the candy. I had to shut the porch light off (universal signal for no candy here) and retreat to the safety of my home office bunker.

I feel like an old man.

I stayed home to hand out the candy...mixed in a witch's brew kettle.
I get to scam the Life Saver gummies and Sweet Tarts.

My wife went Trick or Treating with a friend and her daughter as Blythe doll zombies.
(my wife is an ex-make up artist)

    Best costumes of the night.
Green Lantern - no matter what you thought of the movie, the outfit here was real cool.
Curious George - worn by a handsome 3 yo. (awww...)

BTW...TONS of princesses for some reason...
