    words i like.

    obsolete
    transient
    ogle
    shallot
    complex
    adjunct
    correlation
    abstract
    transfix
    cursive

maybe this is stupid. but there are words that i like just because they are beautiful. in this context, the meanings of them aren't that important. I just like the way they sound and the way look in written form.

what are some of your favorite words?
bonus points for words in languages other than english. no need to tell us what they mean, in fact, i prefer that you don't. :)

i'll have to break out my chamber's 20th century dictionary later on. it's full of bizarre and joyous words that are either, uh, obsolete or nearly obsolete.

Fuck...I just love that word and...you know, the action of fucking.

    Puttanesca

Incroyable is my second favorite French word. L'eye-liner is my first...more in how it's pronounced. Il y a une vache dans ma salle de bain et elle mange l'eye-liner. INCROYABLE! I learned that little phrase in High School....I was a weird kid.

I had a French friend from another site translate for me...
"There's a cow in my bathroom and it's eating the eyeliner. INCREDIBLE!"

I have no idea why you learned that phrase in highschool, but it made my week. Thank you! :D
