today began with the realization that the publisher has a style sheet.
i knew of no such thing.
the email i got this morning told me of it.
it claimed to attach this thing but did not
so i spent my morning thinking...what does this mean, style sheet? what does this mean?
then it arrived.
as i suspected everything about the footnotes and bibliography is wrong in terms of format.
fuck fuck fuck i said to myself again and again.
fuck fuck fuck.
then i figured out a system.
then i implemented that system.
it's still a pain in the ass, but not so big a pain in the ass.
and as of this moment, i have not purchased any cigarettes.
so i count this a victory to the extent that it is not a total defeat.
that is how one counts victory, yes?

I can't do anything without cigarettes least of all write. so yeah, I'd say it's a huge victory.

 

Yaknow, I feel the same way too, not only that, I would be SO PISSED if she is one of those silent ranters IRL. I would like.., be .. be so ... so dissapointed.

 

Ha ha ha ha ha. Seven years ago, I lost 94 pounds. I've gained back more than a few for a number of reasons. No one is fat and lazy, just unmotivated. I need to fit in my Hot Jeans again. And, I'd really like to replace the two bras I just bought today, with at least a size smaller.
