i guess it doesn't matter where the phone came from if members of his base think it came from obama. for me it wasn't even about the phone, it's about the entitlement attitude of many obama voters being demonstrated in plain view.

 

OK...if you think a video of one voter makes a point.

I think it is dangerous to start down that slippery slope.

And I think it does matter where the phones come from, given that it is purposefully contributing to false stereotypes.

 

people do the same thing with attacks on conservatives here, just thought i'd help even the playing field. there's more than enough voice from the left on this board to say the least.

 

I only speak for myself and I try to post facts (maybe not always successfully) or occasionally with tongue in cheek, not perpetuate disproved innuendo.

I think this new Samuel L Jackson rhyming Obama campaign video is creative, perhaps a bit over the top:

Yeah you know when unions pay people to protest it's totally different then when the Koch Brothers do it.

 

what's the point? it does ruffle my feathers, but it's because he voted for obama because he's black. i can't respect that decision at all. if he voted for obama based on the platform and not the color of skin i could respect that. voting based on race just discredits this whole poem in my eyes.

The narrator, speaking as if he were Obama reading his autobiography. “It was the culmination of an American socialist movement that my real father, Frank Marshall Davis, nurtured in Chicago and Hawaii, and has been quietly infiltrating the U.S. economy, universities, and media for decades.”

It evidently has been mailed to thousands of voters in swing states and Tea Party groups and conservative churches are screening it at every opportunity. It was shown at a right-wing film festival in Tampa during the Republican National Convention, and by Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum Council in Missouri. Alabama GOP Chairman Bill Armistead recently recommended it during a speech, saying, “I’ve seen it. I verified that it is factual, all of it. People can determine.”

But resurfaced again to an equally receptive audience of bigots and haters.
