    i met the lads from hanson at a conference once. they were hawking a documentary about their serious artist selves and their serious artist lives. they did not want to talk much about mm-bop. of course, that made me curious about the matter. so i tried to ask. that didn't go so well.

    ZombieSquirrel, holy cow, some schools are only just starting now? I'm in my 4th week, and I have some midterm exams starting up next week.

    In other news, TFP is starting to become my "Facebook." You guys are starting to become the guys I want to talk to, to bounce ideas off of, to have bouts of extreme silly with. I now use Facebook for approximately three things:
    1) Daily checkups of how my friends are doing
    2) Messenger / Messages (this is the only way to get ahold of some people that I know reliably)
    3) Events (again, some people only collaborate through Facebook and don't tell anyone outside of FB what's going on)

    Just played sliding block puzzle in my garage this morning, cleaning it out in the process. Since I got the Harley this spring, my SUV has been in the driveway instead of the garage. The wife's car gets precedence, one because my SUV is company owned, and two because I'm supposed to be chivalrous and let her have the garage. I was debating on putting the bike in storage this winter, but didn't want to pay $300-400, plus most places that store motorcycles in proper conditions around here (heated, battery tender, etc.) don't let you take it in and out through the winter on nice days. Instead I found a way to put a mid-sized SUV, a full-sized sedan, a full-bagger Harley Davidson, a refrigerator, stand-up freezer, two shelving units, snowblower, mower, garbage can, recycle receptacle, tool rack, and various other odds and ends all fit in a standard two-stall garage, with room to get in and out of the cars, fridge, and freezer. *go with my bad self*

    I would just like to go on record that I have no plans of murdering the receptionist. She creates many enemies, but she is not worth messing up any clothes with blood spatter. I do not want the authorities wasting their time questioning me if she ever turns up dead.

    I happily got up early (for me) this morning. Alarm-Cat pounced at 7:10 so I rolled out of bed, got dressed and ready, and headed out the door at 8.

    I got started on my practicum today--that might explain the cheeriness. Middle schoolers are hilarious!

    OUS (Oregon University System) schools are on quarters. All public universities in Oregon start back today. Our break schedule also mirrors the public school schedule in the state--OUS schools have the same exact spring break as the K-12 schools. It's a complete PITA.

    I missed the taco truck on campus today by 7 minutes. At this point of the month I want delicious salty foodstuffs, and have been looking forward to those delicious homemade chips and guacamole all day. So sad.
