You should see some Sake lists out there. Holy mama.

Then I ran out of the Goose. So I did Dark Eyes (for bloody marys) instead.

Do not, I repeat, do not do as I do.

Nice. They have a pretty good Sake list.

Especially like their selection of the higher quality Ginjo and Daiginjo sakes. They may be priced high, but from experience I can say they're almost always worth it. From what one of my Japanese colleagues once told me, Japanese Sake is made specifically to get you drunk faster with smaller quantities. The 16 shots of Vodka I usually have? Yeah, make that 14cl of Sake.

Also, definitely try their Ume Spritz cocktail. Have been a great fan of Japanese plum wine since last year. So sweet and flavorful, they're bloody nice to have while relaxing/mellowing out.

EDIT: Don't know about you, but I usually have my Sake cold. Unless people recommend it to be consumed warm, and emphasize that recommendation. I've had little that was more throat-burning than semi-hot Sake. German Schnaps comes to mind.

First it was some Arnold Palmer Zero from Arizona teas. Then Dogfish Head's Urkontinent. And then a glass of Angeline Pinot Noir (2011). And my coccyx still hurts.

I have a buddy who makes his own rum. He's in the process of getting it legally approved for sale and distribution, and is fairly far along that route. I have some of it with Cherry Dr. Pepper right now, and it is fantabulous.

I had some Dogfish Gead Red and White. Delish,
Then a Highland Gaelic Ale. It never tastes quite like it did in Asheville.
