    Ah, that was a great weekend. The memories.

    In other news, I really need to make a doctor's appointment. I had an inkling that I had exercise-induced asthma, but an incident over the weekend (carrying a canoe and a 40-lb backpack up a hill) made me realize it's worse than I thought, as I had my first real asthma attack. Totally unpleasant experience, by the way.

    I forgot to set my alarm last night. Shot out of bed, panicked because we don't have a clock in the bedroom. Couldn't find my phone. Dug around in covers and found phone only to realize that it was only 3 minutes after I was supposed to be up.

    Not a good way to start the day--with pounding heart and panic. Fuck.

    Me too! My grandpa HAD to have those cookies to go with his tea, so every time he came to visit, we bought a tin. They typically were full of coins, though, not sewing notions.
