We had green bell peppers stuffed with a mix of Mexican spices, cheeses, rice and veggies. Topped with even more cheese and baked in the oven. My husband went crazy for all of it, especially the baked "cheese crisps" that resulted from the drippings at the bottom of the casserole dish.

Plus, he's an amazing cook... you should try his tiramisu from scratch. And the veal osso bucco, pork chops, salmon, white truffle mashed potatoes, asparagus.... But, he's my amazing husband, too. :D

Beer and burgers sounds like a winning combination to me.

Here are more pics from my dinner.

Here was the wine I paired with my steaks. I actually got to meet Ty earlier this year and drink some wine with him, he was a nice down to earth guy.

Here was the full plate. I grilled the broccoli, potato, and bread. I love my taters extra crispy. :yum:

And the medium rareness of the tasty porterhouse.

I feel the need to come to Chicago and do a meat-and-alcohol parade in some of the city's finer steak establishments with you.

Now to get my SO to let me spend the requisite amount of money this would involve. One disadvantage about having a wife: they make you reign in your spending sprees.
